This exciting dance show will feature a festive lineup of performances to wintery, holiday themed classics! Get in the holiday spirit this season with the BYC Holiday Spectacular! This exciting show will feature a variety of dance styles from classical ballet to hip hop, highlighting the diverse strengths of the BYC dancers! The show will include choreography by BSD Faculty Katherine Hooper, Stephanie Boisvert, Courtney Costa, Kelsey Blanchette, Dana Mazurowski, Alyssa Sullivan, Maddie Gaeski and Janelle Holmes. It will also feature work from guest choreographer Ambere Rogers.

The BoSoma Youth Company (BYC) of the BoSoma School of Dance is a community outreach dance group for ages 10-18 committed to sharing the art of dance at a wide variety of local venues. This pre-professional performance group offers students the chance to take their training outside the classroom and into the community at places such as town fairs, after-school programs, fundraisers, and other local events. In addition, youth company dancers are given the opportunity to enhance their dance education through workshops, master classes, and intensives. In order to participate in the BYC, students must commit to attending the Jr or Sr Intensive Annual Program Classes, attend 1-2 weekly rehearsals as scheduled through out the school year as well as the BSD Summer Intensive held in August.
